Why should I study Abroad?
Studying abroad is very important because we now live in a global society.  It not only provides you with a global perspective and real life intercultural experience, but it also gives you a competitive edge in today’s  global marketplace

Can I study abroad if I have never taken a foreign language?
Sometimes.  There are some programs that do not require foreign language as a pre-requisite for study abroad.  Be sure to review the details of your program of interest for additional information.

Do I have to spend an entire year abroad?
No.  There are opportunities for study abroad for as little as a few weeks, an entire summer, a semester, or an academic year.

Does my major matter?
Not always.  There are study abroad programs that are available to students with any major.

Can I earn academic credit with study abroad?
Yes.  Most study abroad programs offer courses for academic credit. 

Can I get a scholarship to study abroad?
Yes.  Many funding opportunities exist within and outside of the institution.  Please review the Funding link to find out what is available.

Do I need a passport to study abroad?
Yes, travel originating from the United States or U.S. territories to destinations outside the U.S. requires a valid passport.
